gas burnerWith more than 2,800 commercial bakeries and 6,000 retail bakeries in America, it is clear that the industry is huge and still growing. Americans simply love their sweets, and with industry and economy growth doing well right now, the dream of owning a bakery could be within reach for many. To open your own bakery though, you need to build it. The kitchen is the most essential part of any place selling food, so starting there would be a good idea. Read on for three priority items.

Ovens
About 95% of commercial facilities use at least one oven type, according to an American study. Ovens are one of the most essential pieces of the bakery kitchen, because otherwise, how do you make the pastries? Propane pipe burners are often used in these, as they are a reliable product for supporting a business.

Stove Tops
Stove tops are equally as important as ovens. This is where you’ll make fondants, and other things like frosting. Industrial gas burners are best for a bakery, because, like the pipe burners, they are reliable. Gas burners aren’t as finicky as electric ovens can be. An industrial burner will give you the strength you need for hours upon hours of cooking!

Counters
Counters are the biggest thing outside of what you’re cooking in to consider. You need ample counter space to work on your creations, set them out to cool, and display them. In the kitchen, the gold standard for countertops is generally stainless steel. This will make them easy to keep clean. For counters in the front of your shop, granite is also easy to keep clean, but gives a more sophisticated look.

Have you ever wanted to own your own bakery? Do you agree that you should start with these and then build from there? How would you go about it? We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions!
